Linda began her teaching career volunteering to teach for a national government association over thirty years ago, taking the position to teach English and Maths, and has also worked in primary schools, preparing students for their 11+ entrance exam to the free grammar schools in the area. Linda has visited people in their own homes for many years and has had a tutorial centre for five years in Halifax, West Yorkshire and since lockdown has worked online. She has been teaching for over thirty years.

Charlotte has a First Honours Degree in Architecture from Manchester University, and has been tutoring for over fifteen years, teaching from her home and online.

You will learn new material then answer some questions during lessons and in between lessons to send over so your tutor can ensure you are on the right path. There are many easy ways of sending your work over securely.

This is then marked in a similar manner with pen markings as a teacher marks at school. It is seen on the screen during the lesson and worked through together, then sent back on a word document with extra information and guidance to increase your grade.

Parallel questions are also given to ensure you have learnt and mastered the new knowledge and techniques needed.

You receive all the learning notes and examples the tutor has gone through during the lesson on your schedule and all the work done together that you sent over and was checked to ensure you get a top grade.

You now have open access to many more resources that speed up your learning process – quizzes, pdfs and videos, to save you time and ensure you learn topics thoroughly in each lesson as quickly as possible.

Parents are the most important part of any student’s success.

We involve parents at every step of their child’s journey sending emails or WhatsApp messages after each lesson explaining what work has been covered, and what needs doing to enhance their son or daughter’s grades for the following week.

Parents can contact us at any time regarding anything concerning their child’s sessions.

We also involve parents in quiz testing for revision which is easy to do because parents don’t need to know any of the answers, they’re all there on the back of the flashcards, so parents can work alongside their son or daughter at any time and can speak to us at any time too.

Sometimes it is just one parent who takes control of the tutoring, some parents are more involved than others, but any help parents contribute is invaluable to their child’s success.

The work you send over to us is strictly confidential and is never shared with anybody else.

We have a strict data protection policy where we never mention any students or parents names to any other students or parents.

We have Enhanced DBS Disclosures (Disclosure and Barring Service Certificates) and an ICO certificate.

When you set up an account with us you will receive your own account with access to the materials you can use which is only available to you.

a) The amount of time spent together, from £20, £25, £30 per session, (some students have a few sessions each week for different subjects).
